Kussmaul Pump Plus HO Charger 091-9C-HO-CHARGER
The maximum output of the Kussmaul Pump Plus HO Charger 091-9C-HO-CHARGER is 11 amps. The automatic battery charger, which is mounted on the car, maintains the batteries fully charged.
For cars with dual battery systems, the battery charger is fully automatic. The batteries are kept completely charged and automatically charged while remaining separate from one another. This updated device has two independent chargers that can recognize and regulate the current flowing to the batteries.
As a result, the other battery is unaffected by parasitic loads on the first battery. Additionally, a connection point for remote signaling lights is provided. On the charger, there is a selector switch that allows the Auto Pump 12V to be used in either D.C. or A.C. mode. The compressor is powered by the vehicle’s battery regardless of the switch state.
When the pressure switch detects low system pressure, the compressor turns on when “D.C.” is chosen. When parking the car far from a 110 volt power source, this is helpful. Operators should switch the Selector Switch to the “A.C.” position if they want to restrict compressor use to moments when the cable is connected to the car. When AC power is provided, this will operate the compressor; however, when the current is withdrawn, it will turn off the compressor.
