With over 30 years of experience producing chassis, E-ONE chassis have a proven track record of durability. With either the Typhoon or 100” wide Cyclone cab, each is built with a roll-cage design, providing maximum protection for first responders. Structural extrusions including sub-frames, a full flange wishbone frame rail, center uprights, and crossbeam extrusions are engineered for optimum strength and durability. These rugged cabs can withstand over five times the static roof load and over twice the frontal impact required by NFPA. Cab strength, coupled with front and side roll-over air bags, provides the ultimate in crew protection.
Both the Typhoon and Cyclone cabs feature excellent visibility for the driver and crew with a wraparound windshield design, heavy-duty interior, low-profile or raised-dash center console, high-performance air conditioning system, LED lighting and more. The cabs are available in five lengths with flat or 12” to 24” Vista roof height, multiple seating configurations, various internal storage options and lighting packages to meet departments’ needs.
Typhoon
Rugged and Maneuverable.
The E-ONE Typhoon all-aluminum cab is built with robust 3/16” exterior platework coupled with custom-designed aluminum extrusions to provide a roll-cage design delivering maximum protection for crews. The 94” cab width provides increased maneuverability in congested areas with tight streets. With multiple cab lengths and roof styles, the Typhoon cab can be configured to meet department needs. The Typhoon is available for our most compact pumper up to our largest aerial and can be powered with up to a 605HP engine, making this cab and chassis very versatile.
CYCLONE
More Room for the Crew
The E-ONE Cyclone cab is ready to meet the needs of today’s fire departments with a rugged design, superior ride and handling, and more interior space than ever before. The 100” wide cab with optional 4” raised roof offers more space for your crew with a generous 27” between door and engine cover for both driver and officer. And with five available cab lengths and seven roof styles, the Cyclone cab can be built to meet your departments’ needs.
